HOW
THEY WORK
The supply bin is loaded with product
usually from a spin basket. It is then
moved out of the supply bin (live bottom bin)
by an internal conveyor, ensuring
first-in-first-out, keeping product fresh.
Gently
moved by an incline conveyor, the product is
transferred to the weighing system. This
system uses bulk and dribble belts. Both
deliver up to 90% of the target weight while
the dribble belt feeds the last 10%.
Once
the weigh bucket reaches the target weight,
the product is ushered out by a push plate
through the discharge spout into an automatic
bagger or had placed bag by an operator.
